realme Introduces the MagDart, the World’s Fastest Magnetic Wireless Charger

Wireless charging has come a long way from being a niche technology, with an increasing number of smartphone owners looking for a fast and convenient way to charge up their devices. With speed being one of the most important requirements, realme introduced their latest product, the MagDart.

This new and sophisticated piece of technology features the world’s fastest 50W magnetic wireless charger, along with the realme Flash, the first Android smartphone that supports magnetic wireless charging.

Along with the magnetic charger and phone, we are also introduced to other handy accessories that offer a great balance between style and tech practicality.

We at the Geeky Juans got invited to the announcement event, and seeing the products

50W MagDart Charger

The world’s fastest magnetic wireless charger is a 50W device that features an active air cooling system that ensures your charging experience remains cool and quick. This will enable the charger to maintain its speed without heating up.

realme Flash

The first smartphone to support magnetic wireless charging, the realme Flash has a 500mAh battery capacity and can support up to 50W of MagDart wireless charging. This allows the phone to charge from 0 to 100% in less than an hour, which is the same speed as the realme 50W SuperDart wired charger.

15W MagDart Charger

Along with the 50W MagDart Charger, realme also introduced a smaller 15W variant, which is dubbed the thinnest magnetic wireless charger. It is only 3.9mm, 26.4% thinner than the MagSafe Charger, but it is still faster than MagSafe due to its Separated Coil & Board design.

It sets the mainboard and the coil at the two ends of the charging plug and the charging pad respectively, thus making the charging pad thin with only one charging coil. It separates these two sources of heat generation, reducing the heat generation situation and thus providing longer high-power charging hours. It can charge the 4500mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 90 mins, much faster than the industry standard.

2-in-1 MagDart Power Bank

Along with providing great magnetic charging options that you can conveniently place on your desk, realme also introduced the 2-in-1 MagDart Power Bank, along with a charging base that allows you to charge wirelessly on the go. Made with vegan leather and aluminum, the power bank boasts a stylish exterior that blends in with your smartphone.

MagDart ecosystem accessories

Apart from the smartphone and magnetic wireless chargers, realme also announced a line of MagDart ecosystem accessories.

MagDart Wallet

This nifty accessory can be placed on the back of the realme Flash, and can be used as a kickstand. It can also hold three credit cards, allowing you to reach for them quickly and without hassle.

MagDart Beauty Light

The MagDart Beauty Light is a photography light that can be connected using MagDart, providing you with improved lighting when taking photos.

GT MagDart Charging Case

The realme GT MagDart Charging Case can enable realme GT compatibility with MagDart. This case connects through the Type-C connector and allows the phone to be charged wirelessly via the MagDart technology.

There’s no word yet on the local availability of these new product innovations to the Philippines. However, it was announced that they will be ready to be launched in the market by 2022.
